Raven is at `/raven` on your Frappe site, for example `https://yoursite.com/raven`, and on your site's apps page. Sign in with your account on the site. You need the Raven User role. If Raven says **You cannot access Raven.**, ask a System Manager to [add you](wiki:472ca3fef13e).

## Set up Raven for your team

On a new site, the first System Manager or Raven Admin to open Raven sees the setup page. It stays until one of them finishes it.

1. **Set up your profile:** add a photo and check your full name.
2. **Set up your workspace:** enter a name and click **Create workspace**.
3. **Create your first channel:** enter a name and pick a channel type.
4. **Add your team:** pick people who already have an account on the site, or invite others by email.

A logo and a description for the workspace are optional. On a site with ERPNext, the workspace name starts as your company's name. During setup the channel type starts as Open, so everyone in the workspace is in the channel. An empty channel name becomes general, and if the workspace already has a #general channel, setup uses it. The people you add are put in the new workspace and channel.

On a site with Frappe HR, setup also offers **Show who's on leave**, which marks people who are on leave on their profile.

Only a System Manager can invite people by email or add people who are not in Raven yet. A Raven Admin without that role can add people who are already in Raven.

If Frappe's own setup wizard is not finished, Raven sends you to Desk to finish it first. This does not happen on Frappe Cloud.

## Set up your profile

Everyone else sees one step the first time they open Raven: add a photo, check your full name, and click **Finish**. Both can be changed later. See [Profile and status](wiki:c4dd150f902f).
