Keyboard shortcuts let you move around Raven and write messages without the mouse. The list is also in **Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts**.

## Navigation

## Channels and lists

These work in the channel list, direct messages, threads and notifications.

## Writing a message

With **Enter key behaviour** set to **Start a new line** in [Preferences](wiki:01eb30a553b5), Enter starts a new line and **Ctrl + Enter**, or **⌘ + Enter** on a Mac, sends.

## Formatting

Select text in the message box, then press the shortcut.

## Viewing images

These work in the image viewer, and when you point to a group of images in a message.
