The send options menu ## Send without notifying anyone 1. Type your message. 2. Click the arrow next to **Send**. 3. Click **Send without notification**. The shortcut is **Ctrl + Shift + Enter**, or **⌘ + Shift + Enter** on a Mac. The message is posted, but nobody gets a push notification for it. It still counts as unread, and mentions still show in [in-app notifications](wiki:f999c29a32f9). If you set **Settings > Preferences > Messaging after hours** to **Always send silently**, every message you send outside working hours is silent. The menu then offers **Send with notification** instead. See [Quiet hours](wiki:7ba42e351f1f). ## Schedule a message 1. Type your message. 2. Click the arrow next to **Send**. 3. Point to **Schedule message**. 4. Click a time. The schedule times in the send options menu The times are grouped by day: | Group | Times | | :--- | :--- | | **Today** | **Morning** 9:00 AM, **Afternoon** 1:00 PM, **Evening** 6:00 PM. Times that have passed are not shown. | | **Tomorrow** | The same three times. | | Next working day | The same three times. Shown when the next working day is not tomorrow, for example on a Friday. | The next working day comes from your holiday list in Frappe HR, or your company's holiday list in ERPNext. Without either, Saturday and Sunday are days off. Raven confirms the time, and a note above the message box shows when the message will be sent. Times show in the time format you chose in **Settings > Appearance**. ### Pick your own time 1. In the **Schedule message** menu, click **Custom date & time…**. 2. Pick a date and a time under **Delivery time**. The dialog shows your message with the time it will be sent. 3. Click **Schedule**. The dialog to pick a date and time :::note You can schedule only text. **Schedule message** is not available when the message has files, when you are replying to a message, or in a thread. You can schedule messages only in channels you are a member of. ::: ## See and change scheduled messages When you have scheduled messages, a calendar button with a count shows near the bottom of the left rail. Click it to open **Scheduled Messages**. Messages are grouped by the day they will be sent. A conversation with a scheduled message also shows a note above the message box. Click **View** in the note to open the list. Click **⋯** on a message for these actions: | Action | What it does | | :--- | :--- | | **Send now** | Sends the message right away, after you confirm. | | **Edit** | Changes the text and the delivery time. Click **Save** when you are done. | | **Delete** | Deletes the scheduled message, after you confirm. | A scheduled message and its actions If a message can't be sent at its time, it shows **Failed** with the reason. Edit it and pick a new time to try again. These are your own messages. Agent messages that repeat on a schedule are set up in a different place. The send options on the mobile app To see your scheduled messages, tap **Profile > Scheduled messages**. The row shows only when you have scheduled messages. Tap a message to send it now, edit it or delete it.
