Raven has apps for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The apps connect to your team's Frappe site, the same site you use Raven on in a browser.

## Install the app

- **iPhone and iPad:** [Raven on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/raven-mobile/id6741682327)

Your site must run Raven 3.1.0 or later. If you are not sure, ask your admin.

## Sign in

1. Open the app.
2. Under **Site address**, enter your site's address, such as `yourcompany.frappe.cloud`.
3. Tap **Add site**.
4. The sign-in page of your site opens. Sign in with the same account you use in the browser.
5. When you have signed in, the app opens your channels.

The app remembers the site. Next time, it opens straight to your channels.

## If the app can't add the site

| Message | What it means |
| :--- | :--- |
| Could not reach this site. | The address is wrong, or the site is down. Check the address and your connection. |
| This does not look like a Raven site. | The address is a website, but Raven is not installed on it. |
| This site runs an older Raven. Ask its admin to update. | The site runs a version of Raven older than 3.1.0. |
| This site has no OAuth client for the app. Ask its admin to set one up in Raven Settings. | The site is missing the sign-in setup the app needs. See the note for admins below. |
| The site is in maintenance mode. Try again in a few minutes. | The site is being updated. |

:::note[For admins]
The app signs in through an OAuth client on your site. Raven creates it when Raven is installed or updated to 3.1, and links it in **Raven Settings**. If the app reports that the client is missing, a System Manager can create it again by running `bench execute raven.api.raven_mobile.create_oauth_client` on the site.

## Push notifications

The app asks to send notifications after you sign in. Push notifications work once an admin has set them up for your site. See [Push notifications](wiki:0e6987e961d0).
