Each workspace has a logo, a description, a type and a rule for who can create channels. Workspace admins can change them, rename the workspace or delete it.

Only workspace admins can change these settings. Other members can open them, but can't make changes.

## Change the details

1. Go to **Settings > Workspaces**.
2. Click the workspace name. The **Details** tab opens.
3. Make your changes.
4. Click **Save**.

| Setting | What it does |
| :--- | :--- |
| Logo | Click the logo to upload a new one. If the workspace already has a logo, click it and then click **Upload logo** or **Remove logo**. |
| Description | A line about what the workspace is for. |
| Workspace Type | **Public**: anyone on the site can see and join it. **Private**: only members can see it, and only admins can add people. |
| Only admins can create channels | When it is on, only workspace admins can create channels. When it is off, every member can. |

A **Not Saved** badge next to the name shows that you have changes to save. You can also press **Ctrl + S**, or **⌘ + S** on a Mac, to save.

## Rename a workspace

1. Open the workspace in **Settings > Workspaces**.
2. Click **⋮** next to **Save**.
3. Click **Rename**.
4. Enter the new name and click **Rename**.

## Delete a workspace

Deleting a workspace deletes all its channels, threads and messages. This can't be undone.

1. Open the workspace in **Settings > Workspaces**.
2. Click **⋮** next to **Save**.
3. Click **Delete**.
4. Type the workspace name to confirm.
5. Click **Delete**.

## On the mobile app

You can't change workspace settings on the mobile app. Use Raven in a browser on a computer.
