Your profile is your name, photo, availability, status and phone number. Other people see it on your messages and in your profile card, which opens when they point to your name.

## Edit your profile

1. Click your photo at the bottom of the left rail.
2. Click **Settings**. Settings opens on **Profile**.
3. Change the fields you need.
4. Click **Save**.

To open Settings from anywhere, press **Ctrl + /**, or **⌘ + /** on a Mac.

| Field | What it is |
| :--- | :--- |
| Full name | Your name in Raven. It is required and can be up to 140 characters. |
| Availability | Available, Away, Do not disturb or Invisible. See below. |
| Status | A short note about what you are doing, such as "Out of office". Up to 140 characters. |
| Phone | Your phone number. It shows on your profile card. |

## Change your photo

1. Click your photo at the top of the Profile panel.
2. Click **Upload a photo** and choose an image, or click **Remove photo**.

The photo changes straight away. You don't need to click **Save**.

## Set your availability

Your availability shows as a colored dot on your photo.

| Availability | Dot on your photo |
| :--- | :--- |
| Available | Green |
| Away | Amber |
| Do not disturb | Red |
| Invisible | No dot. Others can't see whether you are online. |

Availability is a label for other people. It does not change which notifications you get.

To change it quickly:

1. Click your photo at the bottom of the left rail.
2. Point to **Status**.
3. Click an option.

The **Status** item in this menu changes your availability, not your status note.

You can also press **Ctrl + K**, or **⌘ + K** on a Mac, and type the availability, such as "away". Then pick **Set status to Away**.

## On the mobile app

Tap **Profile** at the bottom of the screen, then tap **Edit profile**. You can change your name, availability and status there. Tap your photo to upload or remove it.

To change only your availability, touch and hold **Profile** at the bottom of the screen, then pick an option.
