What this guide is about

This guide is for any business evaluating Frappe products for their business, be it ERPNext, Frappe CRM, Frappe HR or any other Frappe applications. It is written to help you make a good decision, whichever way that decision goes. The objective to communicate the most important pieces of information that a prospective business user should have before making the decision. You can either use it piecemeal to extract whatever you are looking for, or let it guide your decision entirely (like an evaluation framework).

Who this guide is for

This guide is written with a segment-agnostic approach, i.e. with the assumption that most questions/clarifications required while choosing any business software are largely the same regardless of industry or company size. Thus, this guide is as useful for SMBs as it is Enterprises.

Whatever your size, the guide is written for everyone on the buying side - whether that's a single owner wearing every hat, or a committee where a CFO weighs cost and risk, a CTO or IT lead assesses architecture and security, operations heads judge the fit, and procurement examines vendor stability. If you are early in your evaluation, read this page and Section 1 to understand the company and the model, then follow the questions above into the sections that matter most to you.
