Working hours are the hours your organization works. Outside them, Raven reminds people that they can send messages without notifying anyone. An admin sets the hours once for the whole site.
Set working hours
- Open Settings > Preferences.
- Under Quiet hours, find Working hours. Click the button next to it. It reads Configure until working hours are set.
- Turn on Enable quiet hours.
- Set Working hours start and Working hours end.
- Click Save.

- Times are in the site timezone, shown under the times. Everyone gets the same hours, wherever they are.
- Times are rounded to the nearest half hour.
- The start and end can't be the same.
- An end before the start is an overnight shift. For example, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- The hours are the same for every day of the week.
Other people get the new hours the next time they open or reload Raven.
To turn it off, open the dialog again, turn off Enable quiet hours and click Save.
What changes for people
Outside working hours, a note shows above the message box: "It's outside working hours". Each person chooses what Raven does in Settings > Preferences > Messaging after hours:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Suggest sending silently | Shows the note, with the shortcut to send without notification. This is the default. |
| Always send silently | Sends every message without notification. |
| Do nothing | Hides the note. Messages send as normal. |
People can also change this from ⋮ on the note. Admins see Change organization's working hours in that menu too.
